Museum of the Diaspora

This was my second visit to this museum
that is kind of central repository of the historical and cultural record of the Jewish people. The continuity over the course of 2000 years, in the midst of dispersion to diverse geographic countries and even more diverse cultures, is a source of amazement. We are so different and so similar. The museum documents the experience, but the explanations, the reasons, for the continued existence of the Jewish people are both perplexing and awesome.
